In conjunction with Kit Donnelly’s exhibition “Re-membering Ourselves”, featured artist Jordan Tierney will lead a workshop where participants will make ceremonial musical instruments from found plastic bottles and driftwood. We will have a street procession to open the exhibition before the March Opening Reception!
When registering, if it’s within your means, please consider a donation when registering through Eventbrite to help us cover the expenses of this workshop.
This workshop will have enough materials available for 20 people. If you register to attend, please be mindful we are providing supplies for you. If you can no longer come, even if it’s the day of, please let us know so we can open your seat for someone else to be able to use the purchased materials. We always encourage “audits” if the class gets booked up and you are still interested in learning about the process. Please feel free to come, learn from Jordan, and see what everyone creates!
DVAA runs 50+ free workshops, exhibitions, and other events every year around Philadelphia. Please consider donating when registering for your ticket so we can continue running our programming in the future and supporting our intergenerational audience!
