Join horticulturist, Briar Maverick, for a campus walk
Join horticulturist Briar Maverick on a tour of iconic and unique trees on campus to celebrate the Jewish holiday Tu BiShvat, New Year of the Trees! We’ll discuss the history of the holiday, the history of important trees on campus, and also admire some of Briar’s personal favorite trees.
Wear good walking shoes and dress for the weather. In the case of inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule this walk among the participants. Parking can be found in our visitor parking lot and participants will meet for the tour at the Facilities Management Building.
