World Day of Remembrance 2023

The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and Families for Safe Streets Greater Philadelphia present World Day of Remembrance 2023. This annual event is scheduled to honor the people who’ve lost their lives to traffic violence in the Philadelphia area. #WDoR2023 is run in conjunction with cities all across the country on the third Sunday of November.

This year we are hosting the event at Hunting Park in North Philadelphia. Hunting Park is a community hub and also surrounded by roads on the high injury network, the 12% of streets that have 80% of all serious crashes in the city.

We will be joined by members of the City’s office of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Sustainability, the Department of Streets, PennDOT, and members of the Pennsylvania legislature.
