December 10, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 11:30 am
Mt. Airy Trailhead (GPS location 952 West Mt. Airy Avenue)
Unusual Tree Species not native to this area greet us in the beginning of this hike along the White Trail. We continue along the high ridge of the White Trail to take in all the different species and make our way to Climbers Rock. From here we continue down to the Orange Trail, passing Glen Fern, Livezey Mill Ruins and the Fingerspan Bridge. We’ll enjoy great views of the creek and see two of the largest rock exposures in the Wissahickon on our return. This hike is intended for adults and please leave pets at home (Service Animals excluded)
Distance: 2 miles
Level: Moderate (some inclines and declines, uneven surfaces)
