Community members are invited to hear The Shepards' story and participate in an open Q&A at this special event moderated by Ebony Ali, William Way board member and manager of the young adult leadership program at GALAEI, a QTBIPOC social justice organization. A mural dedication celebrating the new Finally on 13th mural that highlights the 30th anniversary of Philadelphia ballroom culture.A dreamchild of applicant Jacen Bowman and the many members of Philly’s Ballroom scene, Finally on 13th celebrates the 30th anniversary of Philadelphia ballroom culture. This mural, designed by Nile Livingston, will stand alone as the Gayborhood’s first mural, honoring this rich practice of Ballroom that has recently become mainstream. The mural is the first in Philadelphia to celebrate black queer culture in a neighborhood steeped with that history which is fast impacted by gentrification. The mural will be dedicated on November

This is a chance to get direct feedback on your Art and Change (ACG) application before the August 1st deadline.Drop-in sessions do not require an appointment and will be held from 2:00pm-7:00pm.
