Under the guidance of fiber artist/teacher Sara Setzer, each participant will create a three-dimensional bird in a predetermined or freehand design, depending on your skill level, using wool and special felting needles. You will be amazed at how quickly you feel like a veteran needle felter! No experience is needed!Sara Setzer is a fiber artist concentrating on felt work, hand dyeing, and botanical printing. Felting captured Sara’s attention when a friend introduced her to the craft.

We often receive questions from our customers about how to handle an injured bird, specifically around nesting season when baby birds may fall from their nests.
