Join Philadelphia Tour Guide and past Woodlands board member, Jim Mundy on a historic railroad themed walking tour of The Woodlands Cemetery. Jim will lead the group through the cemetery, beginning with the railroad tracks that run adjacent to the southern border of the cemetery, and then visit some permanent residents who were instrumental in the development of railroads in America including including John Edgar Thomson, Samuel Morse Felton, Asa Whitney, Edward C. WEST CRAFT FEST Saturday, April 26th, 2025 Raid Date: Sunday April 27th West Craft Fest is open to all and free to attend. For over a decade, The Woodlands has served as the venue for West Craft Fest, featuring 130+ local makers, vendors, and performers. The Woodlands welcomes thousands of visitors through the historic gates at West Craft Fest. For many folks, it’s their first time visiting the cemetery. West Craft Fest requires ample staff time, resources, and wear and tear on the site. Whether you’re a long-time attendee or a first-time visitor, please consider making a $1 -$5 donation

Volunteer at The Woodlands We’re taking the opportunity to give the grounds a much-needed winter spruce-up. Join us on Saturday, January 25th for a volunteer clean-up session, and read on for what you can do at The Woodlands to keep the grounds beautiful, whenever you may be visiting. What we’ll be doing: Collecting fallen sticks and branches, picking up trash along Woodland Avenue, and doing other outdoor site clean-up chores as needed.
