An introduction to carving and printing linoleum by hand and printing on a Vandercook press.This workshop is designed to give you introductory hands-on relief printing experience, from block carving to printing a final poster. Through this workshop, you will learn fundamental block carving techniques, and carve your own linoleum block based on a pre-designed image. Then, we will combine all participants’ blocks to create a larger combined image, and learn how to use a Vandercook printing press to print posters of the combined image.
