Learn the basics of encaustic painting & collage making!What is encaustic wax and how is it used in art?Encaustic consists of natural beeswax and damar resin (crystallized tree sap). Once heated to a melting point, it can be applied as a base, top-coat, adhesive, and/or mixed with pigments! In this workshop, you'll learn to take aluminum cans from your favorite drinks and turn them into a wreath-sized flower to put in your garden, on your door, or anywhere inside or out!
