Join the Philadelphia Water Department, Mural Arts Philadelphia, and The Academy of Natural Sciences for the Waterway Arts Initiative’s inaugural event on Wednesday, July 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis Cope House at Awbury Arboretum. Germantown residents are welcome to this free event to engage in educational activities and access flooding resources.

Earth Day Flyer We’re celebrating Earth Day! Join us on April 20th from 9AM to 4PM for a day of games, food + drinks, live music, and more! Come out for a relaxing morning Bird walk or yoga session at the Cope House, then head over to AdventureWoods for an environmentally exciting scavenger hunt! Afterwards, journey across Washington Ln. to the Farm for more excitement!  We’ll have double-dutching, games led by Prescribe Outside,  flower arranging with florist and artist Isaiah Reese, drumming with S(tree)twork’s Drum Corp at the Lightning House, and live music from Koof Ibi, Mel Harris, and Rumi

Restorative Yoga

Slow down, Relax, Rest and Restore inside of the parlors the Francis Cope House. This restorative yoga class taught by Megan Do Nascimento will consist of holding certain yoga  poses for a longer amount of time. We will be using blankets, blocks, bolsters to allow our bodies to recover from a long day. Bolsters, blankets, yoga blocks and blankets are provided.  Restorative yoga is suitable for practitioners of all levels.
