Revival Walk: Nurture the Inner Child
Join Olney Culture Lab this year for Revival Walks through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia where we will honor the sun, wind, trees, birds, and nature. Mama Carla will share stories illuminating our place in the community with one another and with our natural environment. Originally created by dance artist / activist Lela Aisha Jones during the height of the pandemic, the Revival Walks brought healing, solace and joy to participants, as facilitators lifted up Afro-centric practices in order to rebalance our relationship to the natural world.
