    The Olney Culture Lab presents the Revival Walks in Tacony Creek Park, hosted by Storyteller Mama Carla and featuring special guest artists. Originally created by dance artist / activist Lela Aisha Jones during the height of the pandemic, the Revival Walks brought healing, solace and joy to participants, as facilitators lifted up Afro-centric practices in order to rebalance our relationship to the natural world. Join us once a month on a Saturday through October (except August) for a journey through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia where we will honor the sun, wind, trees, birds and nature.

    Let’s take a healthy stroll in the park together! Join your neighbors every Friday or Saturday morning for a healthy and empowering stroll on the Tacony Creek Park trail. On Fridays, we meet from 9:00am–10:00am at E Tabor Rd & E Olney Ave. View the calendar for the April-July start locations here. All are welcome to join us for this free walking group. The trail is a paved, fairly flat Circuit Trail; all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. All programs follow Philadelphia Covid guidelines. Register Here to join.
