    Join us for our annual winter holiday social at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education! Come one, come all to celebrate the holiday season with your favorite local mushroom club! To celebrate a fruitful year, we will be hosting an afternoon of family friendly holiday festivities. We will share a potluck meal, do some crafts, screen the 2024 Fungi Film Festival, and hold a white elephant gift exchange. We will have merch for sale with fresh selections of shirts, stickers, pins. and prints. We will have a guided walk at 1pm (weather permitting), but feel free to hit the trails at the Schuylkill Center earlier or

    Learn to craft jewelry out of seeds and plant fibers gathered at the Schuylkill Center. Led by artist Eric “Ka‘ahele” Morales, Ph.D, you will learn to craft jewelry designs that consider color, texture, technique, and environmental impact with reverence towards creation in all places and life. Take home a piece of jewelry and a deepened sense of connection to seeds!   This event is part of our current show, Seed Stories: A Celebration of Land-based Creators, which brings together several of Philadelphia’s seedkeepers to share the artistic practices they tend to alongside their gardens.
