Join Cassie Jones, architects from OLIN, and ecologists from Symbiotic Ecological for a BioBlitz and crafts along the Delaware River!Please join Cassie Jones, the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, landscape architects from OLIN, and ecologists from Symbiotic Ecological for a BioBlitz and nature craft along the Delaware River on October 12th!To kick off the next phase of design of an ecologically-focused “Wetland Park” from Pier 70 to Pier 64, the team is looking to crowd-source the identification of as many aquatic and terrestrial plant and animal species as possible within the project area. Lady Danni leads a walk along between Piers 68 and 70 to discuss the trees and plants that line the trail.Behind Columbus Blvd (Delaware Ave) there is 1.64 miles of trail from Pier 68 & 70 lined with trees and wild plants that have edible and medicinal value. We’ll start at Pier 70 that begins at Walmart, and walk towards pier 68 and Washington Avenue Green. We’ll discuss the trees and other plants that line the route.
