During his 2024 residency at Park Towne Place, Philadelphia-based artist Richard King built on his fascination with the ignored and invisible aspects of the world around us. He’s explored Park Towne Place and its surrounding urban environments, in terms of their history, spatial character, textures, and form. Using this research, and his engagement with the surrounding communities, King is creating a new series during his residency. Come see some of his finished work and works in process, and hear more about his thoughts, techniques, and inspiration. Light refreshments will be provided.
