The exhibition will feature artwork from incarcerated artists at both prisons, alongside letters exchanged between the artists.The View from Here ExhibitionDuration: March 1 - March 24, 2024Over the past year, incarcerated artists from San Quentin Rehabilitation Center and State Correctional Institution (SCI) Phoenix have corresponded, creating a bridge between the groundbreaking art programs of both prisons. Both facilities have long-standing art programs with impacts extending beyond their walls. This exhibition, a first of its kind, assembles a group show of currently incarcerated artists from the East and West Coasts.
