Join us to meet the artist and learn all about her Botanical Fainting Couch.Meet the Artist: Sarah PetersSaturday, February 4, 1:30 – 2:30 PMThe Botanical Fainting Couch is an award-winning taxonomy-themed sculpture created by artist Sarah Peters and is currently on-view at Jenkins through February 2023. It is made up of the twenty-six letters of the alphabet and each letter has the texture of a different plant identified by its Latin genus (the scientific name). Join us to meet the artist and learn all about her Botanical Fainting Couch and the investigation, experimentation, and innovation that went into its creation.
