Come gather with others in a safe and nurturing environment to help release unnecessary stress and renew your spirits.  During the session, Christina Fittipoldi will lead us in a gentle yoga practice, accessible for all, and breathwork to support self-awareness.  If the weather permits, we will explore the beauty of Hildacy Preserve with a moving meditation connecting us to nature to soothe our souls.  We will finish our morning with a sound bath with singing bowls

During this guided walk, we’ll watch for migrating species, observe local birds as they prepare for nesting season, and take in the flutter of winged life returning to the landscape. Led by our preserve management staff, you’ll get a personalized experience from someone who tends these lands on a daily basis.     Birds, community, and spring vibes abound. Join us as Natural Lands teams up with Philly Queer Birders for an inclusive, all-levels bird walk at Hildacy Preserve. This relaxed outing welcomes LGBTQIA+ folks and allies to enjoy spring migration, learn about local birds, and connect with community in a supportive outdoor space. No birding experience required—just curiosity and a love of being outside. About our partners: Philly Queer Birders, founded in March 2021, is a monthly group that builds LGBTQIA+ community through birding while exploring Philadelphia’s parks and natural spaces, plus surrounding areas.   • Nature as Healer: A (Grief) Writing Workshop

Join Naila Francis, founder of This Hallowed Wilderness, for a writing workshop to explore the restorative power of nature (right around Earth Day). Together, we will walk through the shady woods and sunny meadows of Hildacy Preserve, listening to our inner voices, on this inspiring nature immersion that also invites us into reciprocal relationship with the land and wildlife.

    Love nature and want to lend her a helping hand? Grab gloves and join fellow volunteers in nurturing nature. Good fun (and dirt) is guaranteed! Natural Lands cares for more than 23,000 acres and 120 miles of trails, and we couldn’t do it without volunteers like you. Volunteering with Natural Lands is a great way to learn more about the natural world, give your time to a great cause, and connect with enthusiastic, like-minded people.     This gathering is exclusive to members and guests of the Allston Jenkins Legacy and White Oak Societies. Absorb the beauty of spring and connect with fellow Society members. Join us for a guided hike led by Hildacy Preserve Manager, Mike Coll. Get a firsthand look at this 55-acre preserve, including its thriving native grassland meadow and avian delights—Eastern Bluebird, American Kestrel, Indigo Bunting, and Red-shouldered Hawk—that inhabit the property.
