This multi-generational showcase will present four distinguished groups of musicians including the venerable Professor Randy J. Gibson & the Double Portion Ensemble, Singer Paris Marie, Saxophonist Hiruy Tirfe, and Jazz Tap Dancer Pamela Hetherington Quintet. The event will be held from 3 pm - 7 pm.     Live at Roots Garden, a performance series produced by Olney Culture Lab, is happy to present Joseph Harrison in a lecture/demonstration/performance in a lush green community vegetable in Fisher Park. The park is located at North 5th and W. Spencer Streets in the Olney section of Philadelphia, 19120. Mr. Harrison is a percussionist, children's book author and urban agricultural expert and advocate. The event will also feature catering by local chefs who will offer light snacks and refreshments.
