Date Tuesday, August 25 Time 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Location Cobbs Creek Park   Join Fairmount Park Conservancy on Monday, August 25th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a volunteer workday at Cobbs Creek Park! Together, we will help care for one of Philadelphia’s most important natural spaces by: • Removing invasive species • Picking up litter and debris • Supporting ongoing stewardship efforts in the park In addition to making an impact through stewardship, volunteers will have the opportunity to join our Natural Lands team

The Philadelphia Mycology Club is partnering with the Clean Air Council to bring a guided mushroom walk series to Cobbs Creek Park! Funding for this series has been made possible by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation. Meet in the parking lot at Thomas Ave and Cobbs Creek Parkway at 5:00PM. After a brief introduction, we’ll hit the trails. Close-toed shoes and long pants are recommended due to poison ivy and ticks. Children are welcome. Due to the forecasted weather Celebrate Trails Day has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 26th 10-2pm. This community event is the perfect time to get outside on Cobbs Creek Trail. Come join neighbors and local organizations for a day of free activities as we #CelebrateTrails together!
