Join us to learn all about birds of prey.The term raptor refers to birds of prey in general, which are known for their hunting skills, sharp talons, and keen vision. True raptors are hawks, eagles, falcons, kites and vultures. While owls are considered to belong to a different order, they are still predatory birds. Chris Weaver (owner of WBU Glen Mills) will explain how raptors play a crucial role in ecosystems and human society, and their importance spans a wide range of ecological, environmental, and cultural areas.

We often receive questions from our customers about how to handle an injured bird, specifically around nesting season when baby birds may fall from their nests. Marie will be here to give a a brief history of the organization and pointers on what to do in case of a bird emergency.
