Ever wonder how to maintain and repair your own bike? Join us for an all new class, where you will learn about flat tire repair, brake adjustments, gear shifting, chain lubrication, and basic component maintenance. The instructor will provide demo bikes, tools, and all the parts needed for students to get their hands dirty and learn some key bike repair skills! The cost of this class is flexible. Intro to Plaster Work $60.00 Curious about the old walls in your Philly rowhome? This hands-on class introduces the tools, techniques, and materials used to repair and restore traditional plaster and lath walls. Learn how to patch holes, stabilize loose plaster, and blend repairs for a smooth finish—all using accessible DIY methods. This class will also include some time for Q&A's regarding students' individual home projects. If you are interested in the installation of drywall or the specific techniques associated with a Level 5 finish - we encourage you to check out our other classes that focus on these topics.

Welcome to our mending fair at WPTL! Bring up to two articles of clothing that need to be repaired. Get hands on as a professional helps YOU mend your clothing, from buttons to holes to hemming, as part of WPTL's mission to reduce waste and develop skills. If you need a garment to be hemmed, you must be able to measure your own inseam. A tape measure will be provided for personal use. On October 25th, 2025, we will be holding our Save the Tool Library Fundraiser from 3-9pm. Join us starting at 3pm for a family-friendly event including pumpkin carving, games, candy, snacks, and beverages.
