    Let’s take a healthy stroll in the park together! Join your neighbors every Thursday,  Friday, or Saturday morning for a healthy and empowering stroll on the Tacony Creek Park trail. On Thursdays, we meet from 10:00am–11:00am at the Rising Sun Avenue Bridge over Tacony Creek (near Rising Sun and Chew Ave). All are welcome to join us for this free walking group. The trail is a paved, fairly flat Circuit Trail; all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. All programs follow Philadelphia Covid guidelines. Register Here to join!     Join us for this FREE workshop on rain barrels, and find out what you can do to better manage stormwater at home! Rain barrels store rain to be released in drier weather, helping our creeks by decreasing the impact of pollution and reducing demand on our stormwater system. Barrels also save you money because you’ll use less tap water. Use stored water for gardens and lawns, or to wash your patio furniture and cars. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.     Join us as we tackle one of the largest illegal dumpsites in Philadelphia!! We’re teaming up with the City of Philadelphia, Office of Clean and Green, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Water Department, United by Blue, and multiple agencies, to remove illegally dumped tires and clear debris from Tacony Creek Park and the surrounding streets. This cleanup is a great way to make a real impact! Volunteers comfortable lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) are especially needed to help remove tires. Prefer lighter work? No problem—there will also be opportunities to collect smaller litter with grabbers. We will meet
