Join neighbors and fellow volunteers in removing invasive plants, stewarding natural habitats, and cleaning up debris. Good fun (and mud) is guaranteed! Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the natural world, give your time to a great cause, and connect with the community. Thank you for giving back. No experience is necessary. TTF Spring BioBlitz 2023

Join TTF Watershed Partnership for a week-long BioBlitz within the TTF Watershed in Philadelphia and Montgomery County! Starting on Saturday, April 22, volunteers can use the free iNaturalist smartphone app to document wildlife observations across the TTF Watershed and add them to our growing TTF project page: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/tookany-tacony-frankford-watershed-wildlife Participate from anywhere in the watershed on your own using the app. The BioBlitz will end on Monday, May 1 when we’ll see how many species we were all able to spot and identify. Virtual Rain Barrel Workshop

Join us for this FREE webinar on rain barrels, and what you can do to better manage stormwater at home! Rain barrels store rain to be released in drier weather, helping our creeks by decreasing the impact of pollution and reducing demand on our stormwater system. Barrels also save you money because you’ll use less tap water. Use stored water for gardens and lawns, or to wash your patio furniture and cars. Join us in Tacony Creek Park for an edible plants and Bioblitz walk! What’s a BioBlitz?
