    Learn about growing native perennials in this easy way to start seeds.  The native seeds are started outside in containers so they are protected from wildlife and benefit from the cold temperatures of winter.     The Philadelphia County Penn State Master Gardeners’ annual Garden Day & Plant Sale returns for the 10th year on Sunday, April 27, 2025! This year, we will be selling a variety of affordable seedlings and native plants with beautiful blooms. Prices range from $4.00 for small vegetable starter plants to $30 for well-established, exotic house plants.
