  • Flax Harvest Day

    Come help us harvest our flax. Learn about how flax = linen.Come harvest flax with us, connect with our community and enjoy a day on the farm. Flax for linen is pulled to harvest and then laid down on the field to ‘ret’ or ‘stooked’ to dry in the field to be stored. Come for a hands on learning day about this ancient process. We’ll be serving light snacks and have plenty of cool water and iced tea on hand.

    Cait Nolan will host a hand processing workshop at her Dye Studio and Garden - Location provided after registration.Cait Nolan is an artist, educator, and gardener who makes quilts using fabrics that she dyes with plants she foraged.
