If you answered yes, we invite you to join us for an information session to learn more about the PA Fibershed University Ambassador Program on Friday, March 27 at 3:30 PM, ahead of the 2026–2027 application cycle. This info session is open to students attending any university in Pennsylvania who are interested in becoming ambassadors, as well as university faculty members interested in serving as faculty cohort

    Are you a Thomas Jefferson University student or faculty member with clothes you never wear taking up space in your closet? If so, join PA Fibershed’s Jefferson Ambassadors for a Clothing Swap on Tuesday, 4/7, at the Gutman Quad! Participants are invited to arrive anytime after 12:15 PM and bring 5–15 clean, gently used clothing items, shoes, or accessories to swap. Please sign up and pay beforehand through the link below. You’ll be provided with table space to display your items and will have the opportunity to browse and select pieces brought by others. Bring a bag for your finds!

    In an increasingly digital and virtual world, working with wool has offered artist Holly Guertin a return to physical, tactile experience. This talk explores how fiber and textile practices ground us in our bodies and reconnect us to material reality, serving as a counterbalance to systems that often distance us from our humanity, dignity, and agency. The presentation will feature works from Hand in Hand, Holly’s upcoming solo exhibition on view July–October at Waterworks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.
