Growing Home Community Garden South 8th Street and Emily Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Our mission is to celebrate urban green space, uniting community members, leaders, and gardeners together over food.Hosted by People’s Kitchen, SEAMAAC, Neighborhood Gardens Trust, and Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, we are planning a Unity Dinner to celebrate urban green space, unite community members, leaders, and gardeners together over food. This dinner will spark conversation around policy to protect the gardens from development. The plan is to repeat these "sideyard stories" events across the city to bring together advocates and growers toward realizing the goals outlined in Philadelphia's Urban Agriculture Plan.
