  • Philly Fall Nature Festival at John Heinz Wildlife Center

    Welcome fall with the Philly Fall Nature Festival on Sat. 9/13 from 10 am - 3 pm at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum! Free archery, guided walks, shuttle tours, resource tables, crafts and activities, and refreshments! There will be a live animal demonstration from Elmwood Zoo at 11 am and another from Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center at 1 pm. Friends of Heinz Refuge will be presenting the photo contest awards at 12 pm. No registration needed, free all day!

  • Refuge Bike Ride with She is Focused

    John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge, 8601 Lindbergh Blvd., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19153, United States

    Join us for a guided exploration of the refuge by bike! The bike tour will be start under the pavilion with stretching and then a group ride on flat gravel roads. We recommend bringing a bike, helmet, layers, and water.
