    FRIEDAcommunity is proud to announce the show A closer look by Brooklyn based Tattooist/ Artist Henbo Henning. Join us and the artist on Friday, June 7, First Friday, during the opening reception from 6pm to 8pm. Henbo Henning is a tattooist, illustrator, animator, and painter. His work is heavily influenced by Traditional and Japanese tattooing. Henning’s world is inhabited with strange creatures: octopuses, polliwogs, axolotls, monsters great and small, real or fictional. These imaginary characters come alive whether on a piece of paper, skin, canvas, textile, wall, or on a screen. Henbo Henning’s creative work straddles the design and art worlds.
