    Learn about Lafayette's visit to Germantown 200 years ago this month as we retrace some of his steps. The tour will take approximately an hour and a half and cover 1.5 miles. There will be times to stop and sit during the walk. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink if needed. This tour will begin at Cliveden (6401 Germantown Avenue) and end at Wyck (6026 Germantown Avenue) so please plan accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, this tour will be rescheduled.     Among the best-known buildings of Germantown are the sturdy, elegant stone structures known today as Cliveden, the Johnson House, the Germantown Mennonite Meeting House, and the Concord School House. Remarkably, these structures can all be attributed to one builder, Jacob Knorr. This tour will bring visitors into these charming and significant sites. We will investigate what we know about the building of early Germantown, and what mysteries remain. In the case of inclement weather, this tour will be rescheduled.
