Join us for a one-day teach-in on practical tools for nonviolent civil resistanceThe International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) Program at Arcadia University (Glenside, PA), in partnership with The Peace Center (Langhorne, PA), is hosting a one-day teach-in on practical tools for nonviolent civil resistance on Friday, March 13, 2026. The event, “A Toolkit for Nonviolent Civil Resistance,” will include two, two-hour training sessions and a roundtable discussion with activists from the greater Philadelphia area. Participants will learn strategies and tactics to stay safe, de-escalate conflict during protests and demonstrations, mobilize quickly, strengthen local capacity, and support mutual aid networks.
