  • Spotlight Tour: Lafayette Visits Germantown

    Learn about Lafayette's visit to Germantown 200 years ago this month as we retrace some of his steps. The tour will take approximately an hour and a half and cover 1.5 miles. There will be times to stop and sit during the walk. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring a drink if needed. This tour will begin at Cliveden (6401 Germantown Avenue) and end at Wyck (6026 Germantown Avenue) so please plan accordingly. In the case of inclement weather, this tour will be rescheduled. This walking group will meet on alternating days at Bartram’s Garden every 3rd and 4th Thursdays and John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge every 1st and 2nd Thursdays. Meet at the Garden’s 56th and Lindbergh Blvd entrance (please note: free parking is not available at the Garden during these hours, so you must utilize street parking).
