Riverbend is hosting a Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and improve their communities. This event is open to ALL ages! Please bring your own water and work gloves to the event. Volunteers will be working outdoors helping our Habitat Manager with invasive plant removal. This is a Riverbend PAY WHAT YOU WISH Event: The true cost to Riverbend to offer this educational event to the public is $35 per family. We recognize

  • Philly Spring Cleanup: One Philly, A United City

    Join us as we tackle one of the largest illegal dumpsites in Philadelphia!! We’re teaming up with the City of Philadelphia, Office of Clean and Green, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Philadelphia Water Department, United by Blue, and multiple agencies, to remove illegally dumped tires and clear debris from Tacony Creek Park and the surrounding streets. This cleanup is a great way to make a real impact! Volunteers comfortable lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) are especially needed to help remove tires. Prefer lighter work? No problem—there will also be opportunities to collect smaller litter with grabbers. We will meet
