Valley Green Inn

Meet at the Valley Green Inn Starting from the Valley Green Inn, we will head downstream along Forbidden Drive, talking about the history, geology and wildlife of the Wissahickon. We will descend the stone steps to the Livezey Dam and we will visit the little known Gorgas Creek Cave. After crossing the Mt. Airy bridge we will hike upstream on the very rocky, hillside trail. We will pass through the artistic, steel mesh structure known as Fingerspan Bridge and take a snack break on the stone steps high above the stream. We will continue past the historic Livezey House and
