    Join us for our third FREE “Birds of a Feather” to Celebrate Trails and Earth Day! Talented artists from our community will live paint along the trail. We will provide hands-on nature and water activities for people of ALL ages, as well as resources from partners, and cool giveaways. Watch as V.U.R.T Creative refreshes the four beautiful bird murals.   • MLK Day of Service in Tacony Creek Park

    Help clean up Tacony Creek Park, spend time with community and volunteers, and learn how you can make a difference in our park. The cleanup portion would be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting at Bingham & Ashdale St. It would be followed by lunch and a Watershed Jeopardy activity inside New Life Church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All the cleanup materials and lunch will be provided.   • [Rescheduled] Feminist Bird Club Philly at Tacony Creek Park

    When:  Sunday, June 29 | 8 am Location: Friends Hospital  4641 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19124 Join Feminist Bird Club Philly on Saturday, June 14 at 8am for a bird outing at Tacony Creek Park. We’ll be looking for breeding activity, learning about the PA Bird Atlas, and hopefully seeing some goofy fledglings! We’ll be starting near Friends Hospital which has parking, public transit access, and restrooms.   We are capping this event at 35 people. If you’d like to join, please fill out the interest form.
