Meet at Cedars House Join Andi, Debbie, and Jim as we explore the park in August. We will hike about 3.5 miles and take note of how the flora and fauna changes during summer’s last full month. We’ll also visit some sites of historical interest. There are some strenuous climbs and rocky ascents and descents. Children 12 years of age and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult, but no dogs other than service animals, please. Kaabi-Linke is the fourth featured artist to speak in the exhibition’s ongoing lecture series. In this virtual talk, Kaabi-Linke will share her artistic journey and her connection to mashrabiya in the context of architecture, art, craft, and community. Nadia Kaabi-Linke was born Tunis, Tunisia, and raised in Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates. She graduated from the University of Fine Arts, Tunis, in 1999, and earned a Ph.D. at
