In this virtual talk, Kaabi-Linke will share her artistic journey and her connection to mashrabiya in the context of architecture, art, craft, and community. Bethesda Project, a local non-profit dedicated to providing emergency shelter, housing, and supportive services for individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia, is hosting its 27th Annual Party & Auction on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the iconic Reading Terminal Market from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. The Party & Auction is the organization’s major fundraising event, raising money and awareness for the life-changing programs and services they provide for thousands of Philadelphians experiencing homelessness.
