Spring Adopt-a-Tree Treeplanting!

Join us with your family and friends to adopt and plant trees at Riverbend. Spring is a wonderful time to plant trees, just as the preserve is coming back to life. Planting trees helps combat climate change and maintain our local water supply, as trees keep excess stormwater runoff from heading to the Schuylkill River watershed. Spend the morning with us at Riverbend enjoying: -Planting trees and learning about the trees that call Riverbend home -Playing tree-tastic games -Filling out an adoption certificate for the tree you planted -And participating in the Philadelphia City Nature Challenge BioBlitz! Princess and Frogs Tea Party

Princesses, Princes, and Frog Lovers of all ages are cordially invited to Riverbend’s Tea Party. Dress your best and enjoy an afternoon that’s all about amphibians: stories, crafts, and an animal encounter with Riverbend’s Green Tree Frog ambassadors. Guests will enjoy light tea party fare and the event is hosted by a very special princess who loves frogs! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their finest prince and princess attire for a family-friendly magical afternoon in Riverbend’s Barn. The gala is a caregiver and child event and all guests must have a ticket.
