    Sun Day, September 21, 2025 is a national day of celebration and action on solar energy. Sun Day Philadelphia, at Love Park from 11 am - 3 pm will be full of solar powered and sun inspired activities for all ages. Live music, arts, solar car races, solar s'mores, solar kits for teachers, zero emission vehicle displays and educational and advocacy exhibits on home electrification and clean energy. The event is free and open to the public. Sun Day is cosponsored by the Philadelphia Solar Energy Association, and Third Act Pennsylvania.

    Expand renewable energy locally beyond your own roof! The Clean Energy Co-op empowers individuals to directly expand renewable energy on nonprofit, co-ops, or community-oriented businesses in our community through collective community investment. This information session will describe our award-wining model, our current projects with Valley Greene Apartments, Inc. (East Falls section of Philadelphia) and West Kensington Ministry (West Kensington section of Philadelphia) and how you could be involved in 2025.
