MLK Day of Service in Tacony Creek Park

Bingham St & E Ashdale St 5180 Bingham St, Philadelphia, PA, United States

Help clean up Tacony Creek Park, spend time with community and volunteers, and learn how you can make a difference in our park. The cleanup portion would be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., starting at Bingham & Ashdale St. It would be followed by lunch and a Watershed Jeopardy activity inside New Life Church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All the cleanup materials and lunch will be provided. Join us with your family at Riverbend as a Martin Luther King Day of Service! Riverbend is hosting a Day of Service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King and improve their communities. This event is open to ALL ages! Please bring your own water and work gloves to the event. Volunteers will be working outdoors helping our Habitat Manager with invasive plant removal.
