At Magargee Dam Directly following our Love Your Park volunteer service day, we’re ready to celebrate all things Wissahickon! Stop by to learn more about the park and ways you can help keep it clean and beautiful; we’ll have games, a community art project, mini Trail Ambassador talks, prizes, and much more! This is a free event and perfect for families. No need to register – just stop by!
This fall, show your favorite neighborhood park some love! In partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy, Park Friends Groups across the city will be hosting volunteer events the weekend of November 10th - 12th for Love Your Park Fall Weekend 2023. Over 90 Philly parks need help planting trees and flower bulbs, collecting leaves for compost, and cleaning up after a busy summer season.
Help us tidy up Tacony Creek Park! Meet new friends and join neighbors to clean up Tacony Creek Park at the Tabor Rd Gateway. Please register here. All tools and supplies will be provided, including work gloves, snacks, and water. We supply masks. Restrooms are not available. Please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one.
