Arch Enemy Arts 109 Arch Street Philadelphia, PA 19106 Arch Enemy Arts is thrilled to present: TABERNACLE, an enchanting series of 10 new and original paintings by Maryann Held. In this solo feature, the local artist continues her explorations in design and color through acrylic paint and gold ink, with each work reverently housed in hand-picked vintage frames WAX & WANE, a solo feature highlighting debut works by Brian Serway. A collection of 7 mixed media paintings, the series depicts an array of mystic woodland creatures captured in the Tennessee artist’s distinctive and haunting style. Also on view through February

Free and open to the public, come celebrate the dramatic and varied new collections we have on display, including three solo features by artists kEda Gomes, Michael Reedy, and S.V. Williams, as well as a new group exhibition titled “NO PLACE LIKE…” Plus, you still have a chance to check out our gorgeous exhibition of GRAPHITE, which includes over forty works from our eleven-year archives dedicated to pencil and works on paper.

During her 2023 artist residency at Park Towne Place, Philadelphia-based artist Michelle Marcuse created a new body of work, resulting in this exhibition, aptly titled Binding Ties. Originating from South Africa, Marcuse’s studio practice investigates the concept of our intricate relationship between identity, history, and our shared human experience amidst a "melting pot" of cultures.
