  • Family Bike Ride

    Join Iresha Picot for a Family Bike Ride at Bartram’s Garden Bike Hub!   A slow-paced, all levels, little to no experience needed, beginner ride highlighting Bartram’s Bike Trail, the Circuit Trails, Swing Bridge Project, and future connection to Center City and beyond. Priority will be given to registrees but will accept walk up’s if there are additional bikes    

  • Biking Level 1.5: Beginner Group Ride & Urban Riding Basics

    A slow-paced, all levels, little to no experience needed, beginner ride highlighting Bartram’s Bike Trail. Bike Ride Leader highlights how to properly wear a helmet, ABC quick check (Air, Breaks, Chain), basic hand signals, trail etiquette related to signaling, passing on the left, overview of the Circuit Trails, Swing Bridge Project, and future connection to Center City and beyond. Registration in advance is required. The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is hosting FREE biking days at Bartram’s Garden through the end of November. Come ride the Bartram Mile trail!  

  • Free Bike Rentals at Bartram’s Garden Bike Hub

    Come by for free walk-up bike rentals; simple repairs (flats, chains, brake adjustments),  diagnostics, and bike safety brochures! Register in advance to receive email updates in case of cancellations. Bikes are available on a first come first serve basis. Registration for free bike rentals does not guarantee availability. The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is hosting FREE biking days at Bartram’s Garden through the end of November. Come ride the Bartram Mile trail!

  • Biking Level 1: Adults’ Learn-to-Ride (16+)

    This FREE two-hour Learn-to-Ride class teaches participants how to ride a bicycle. This class is perfect for those who have never ridden a bike or who may need a refresher. Staff and volunteers will teach participants how to: Balance Pedaling techniques Starting and stopping Steering and shifting gears You can bring your own bike and helmet or rent a bike and helmet for free at the class.  This class is for individuals ages 16 and up. For individuals younger than this age range, check out the Kids’ Learn-to-Ride classes! Registration in advance is required.
