    Join us for the first Family Movie Night of the season! Bring your picnic blankets, bug spray, and snacks, and enjoy a free, family-friendly movie under the evening sky. We’ll have popcorn, lemonade, and water to share! No registration is necessary. We’ll be watching the Disney film Strange World (2022). Come early for the featured pre-movie activities we have planned: Community biking along the Bartram’s Mile Trail with our partner, The Bicycle Coalition from 4-6pm. Free bike rentals and helmets will be available at the Garden’s Bike Container. We encourage you to enter and park at the Garden’s 56th Street entrance

  • Firebird: Built to Burn Theatrical Premiere

    A Story That’s Waited Eighteen Years To Be Told! Firebird: Built to Burn delves into a year in the making of the beloved Firebird Festival, where a tight-knit community gathers every December to ignite a giant wooden phoenix. Fueled by their rustbelt spirit, a diverse group of volunteers persevere through pandemic restrictions, local government negotiations, and months of arduous building to orchestrate a cathartic come-back festival after their absence in 2020. Told through intimate interviews and fly-on-the-wall verité, Firebird: Built to Burn is a wholesome look into an unconventional tradition. The premiere of ‘Firebird: Built to Burn’ is Wednesday, November 29th, at 7:00 PM.

  • Free Movie on the River – “Hocus Pocus”

    Join Riverfront North Partnership and Glen Foerd for a fun, spooky, family-friendly evening along the river, watching the original Hocus Pocus. The movie will begin around 7pm. The fun begins at 5:30pm with free craft-making for the kids, thanks to our Lilly P.A.D.S. instructors. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. So bring a blanket or chairs, or maybe your favorite Halloween costume, and get ready for a spooky, fun evening! This event will take place on the waterfront lawn by the Main House.
