  • School Age Studio: Trees, Buildings + Bodies

    Design Gym 1714 North Mascher Street, Philadelphia, United States

    Available on select School District of Philadelphia (SDP) half-days, we offer a hands-on, project-based design workshop that allows students to be designers in a studio. Students will learn the design process through activities and exercises to design and build a project individually and/or as a team. Each studio introduces how we see design everywhere and projects based on one or more design disciplines. + $45 Half-Day 12:30-3:30pm (includes a snack) + $20 Extended Care 3:30-5:30pm (brings a snack) + Maximum studio size of 10 students + Instructors are design professionals of varied disciplines + All materials included + Pick-up option

  • Virtual Philly Unwrapped Community Waste Reduction Engagement Event

    For those of you who may have missed our first session, we are back by popular demand. This time we will be joined by the Executive Chef of Jeffery A Miller Catering to learn about their incredible move towards reuse. Then we will lean how businesses can use the tools in the Philly Unwrapped Toolkit and the final portion of the session will be a 50 minute participatory engagement session lead by Trash Academy.
