Rework the Runway

Rework the Runway is a sustainable fashion show and design competition happening on Earth Day 2024 at North Bowl in Philadelphia. 10-15 hand-selected Philly-based designers will use secondhand clothing and recycled materials to create one-of-a-kind reworked looks to be featured in a fashion show. The winner of the competition will win a full 4-way rack inside Urban Exchange Project to sell their items at full profit for 2 months as well as a First Friday event highlighting their residency. Urban Exchange Project will also be releasing its line of recycled and reworked pieces in the 2nd portion of the show.

School Age Studio: Trees, Buildings + Bodies

Available on select School District of Philadelphia (SDP) half-days, we offer a hands-on, project-based design workshop that allows students to be designers in a studio. Students will learn the design process through activities and exercises to design and build a project individually and/or as a team.
