We will be working on removing invasive plants as well as adding tree tubes to some of the smaller trees now that all of the buffer fencing has been removed.     Neighbors! Tired of the tires?! Upset about dumping in the park? Join us for the #CreekyCLEAN! Tacony Park Kick-off Weekend Clean Party on 08/17/2024 and help us transform Whitaker Gateway into a cleaner, greener space! 🌿 Together, we can make a difference and reclaim our beautiful park. To kick off our #CreakyCLEAN Tacony Park campaign TTF Watershed is partnering with Parks & Recreation and our park neighbors along Tampa Street to reclaim this gateway from years of short dumping of overgrowth. Street parking is available on-site. We will provide gloves and all the tools/supplies, such as trash bags and trash grabbers.
