    Join us for a free Education Open House at Mt. Cuba this March. Attend informational drop-in sessions with Mt. Cuba Center staff and learn about our new spring and summer class offerings. Enjoy a pre-season sneak peek with a guided tour of the gardens, bursting with emerging spring ephemerals. Take advantage of a 10% discount on registration for an upcoming class of your choice when you register on-site during the event. This event is free, but RSVP is required.   • Free First Friday: Paint with Plants

    Cherry Street Pier, North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA, USA 121 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA, United States

    All materials included: small canvas and easel, and plant based paints made on the Delaware River Waterfront from local plants. Bonnie MacAllister is a third year Resident Artist at Cherry Street Pier. Her studio practice involves interactive collaborative workshops demonstrating her studio practice of embroidery, felting, natural dyeing, and recycled textiles. Her embroidery has been exhibited at the New York Public Library, McLean Project for the Arts, the New School / Parsons, the State Museum of Pennsylvania. the Woodmere Museum, Yellowstone Art Museum, Trenton City Museum, and Sandy Spring Museum. Bonnie is the recipient of a Fulbright-Hays to Ethiopia (2009)
