    Join us for our third FREE “Birds of a Feather” to Celebrate Trails and Earth Day! Talented artists from our community will live paint along the trail. We will provide hands-on nature and water activities for people of ALL ages, as well as resources from partners, and cool giveaways. Watch as V.U.R.T Creative refreshes the four beautiful bird murals. From 1:30-3pm, Sustainable Business Network and Philadelphia Water will lead a Tacony Creek Stream Restoration Project Tour, focusing on reducing stormwater runoff and increasing urban green space accessibility.  Let’s unite as a community and spread awareness of the beautiful park, trail,

  • Cobbs Creek Celebrate Trails Day

    Cobbs Creek Celebrate Trails Day will celebrate its sixth year running on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 10am-2pm at the playground/park area at Thomas Ave & Cobbs Creek Parkway just north of Whitby Ave. Brought to you by Clean Air Council and the Cobbs Creek Watershed Coalition, this free event will kick off at 9:30am with a WeWalk to explore the paved Cobbs Creek Trail. Beginning at 10:00am attendees can interact with over two dozen exhibitors offering family friendly games, resources, information, education, and activities for residents to connect with including sharing ideas for the upcoming Little Nature Playgrounds on
