    Mark your calendars for March 16th & 17th. That’s right, the Philly Bike Expo has moved to Spring! The Philly Bike Expo celebrates the bicycle like no one else. Now in its 13th year, the Expo offers inspiration, information, and entertainment to cycling aficionados and novices alike. Held at the PA Convention Center, the Expo features exhibits by artisans and manufacturers from around the country and the world, demos, workshops, seminars and kids activities that include a spacious indoor test-ride area.   • Slow Roll Memorial Bike Ride for Barbara

    Civic Center Blvd and Spruce St.

    The Bicycle Coalition and Families for Safe Streets will work in collaboration with Barbara's friends and family to host a silent, slow roll bike ride from Civic Center Blvd and Spruce St. to the site of Barbara Friedes crash, 18th and Spruce. We will place an Angel bike at the crash site and hold a memorial for her. Please join to honor Barbara's memory.

  • National Ride A Bike Day

    The Bicycle Club of Philadelphia, The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia and Philly Bike Action in cooperation with The Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, will be hosting National Ride A Bike Day events on May 2 2026 from 10am to 2pm along the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia. This is a kickoff for the Philadelphia celebration of National Bike Month. On May 2 2026 from 10 am – 2 pm, tables will be staffed at the following SRT locations in Philadelphia: - #1 Boathouse Row/Kelly Drive and Waterworks Drive (Near Lloyd Hall and Cosmic Cafe) - Kelly
