Join us for the opening cocktail reception to meet the artist on First Friday, March 6, an in-depth artist talk on March 18, and/or a hands-on printing workshop on April 18. Join us for a conversation with Yassi Deylami in a more intimate and relaxed setting. Following the talk, dinner will be served allowing for more discussion with the artist and among guests. Trained as an architect, Yassi Deylami approaches art as a form of spatial inhabitation. For her, architecture is not merely structure but also a logic that allows space to be lived into and activated by memory, imagination, and presence. With a Master of Fine Arts and Master of Architecture, Yassi creates work based on geometry and structural order, which becomes the framework through which creatures emerge: shadow selves
